Job Description

Our client is a full service commercial bank headquartered in midtown Manhattan, seeking to recruit a VP Credit Review Officer for their growing team.

This position will report to the Head of Credit Review and will have responsibility for leading a range of independent credit reviews of the bank’s commercial lending portfolios. This particular organization has a specialism in Commercial Real Estate Financing, Factoring and Asset-Based Lending.

The ideal candidate will have a strong credit background from the business of a banking organization or from the 2nd line credit risk function. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable with the advisory nature of the role, managing stakeholders, gathering accurate information and importantly presenting findings back to relevant committees.

This commercial bank has experienced a period of growth in recent years which has led to a push for new talent within the group and multiple tracks from which employees can expect to progress internally.
