Job Description

Reporting to the Regional Head of Security, this role manages a sizeable team in-country, responsible for providing security services and asset (personnel, property, equipment, data, & intellectual property) protection through the design of physical infrastructure and processes. The post will have responsibility for addressing security and workplace violence incidents, risk mitigation, crisis management planning and response, staff training and investigations of theft and potential financial crime issues. You must be able to engage with, and influence local, regional and global business senior leadership. Candidates will be expected to manage a high volume workload and in a fast paced, complex, changing environment. Fluent English and strong Japanese language skills are required.  You should have significant experience in areas such as corporate security management, loss prevention, asset protection, anti-counterfeiting, financial crime investigation & case management, transportation/supply chain security, guard force utilization, or investigations.  You should also have experience leading teams and providing management, leadership and mentoring to team members as needed. Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma concepts desired and certification is a plus.
