Operational Resilience & Crisis Management Director – Cyber Security, Risk Management, Recovery, Banking, Perm, Montreal, Canada
Our leading banking client is requiring an Operational Resilience & Crises Management Director to ensure the group’s ability to prevent disruptions to its critical services from occurring. We are seeking a multifaceted risk management leader who can perform the fundamental roles of an operational resilience & crises management director, which include but are not limited to: contribute to the development of the crises management framework, manage the implementation of the bank’s global crisis management program, and identify resilience gaps in process and controls. This is a start-up role that will create the function in Montreal, drive program, and lead a team of 5-6.
Main responsibilities;
Crises Management
Develop as well as manage the training of crises management teams.
Develop process to validate effectiveness of the crises management program.
Act as subject matter expert on the crises management tools.
Operational Resilience
Manage the design and delivery of Operational Resilience standards.
Manage internal and external recovery arrangements.
Provide oversight of Cyber Resilience, IT Resilience, and business and IT Continuity.
Requirements;
Minimum 10 years of experience in relevant field.
Track record of building high performance teams.
Proficiency in IT service management, service continuity domains.
Strong risk mindset.
Successful candidates will have the ability to work autonomously and be able to bridge the gap between deep technical knowledge and information security initiatives across the firm in order to influence business development and security protocols across the company.
