Job Description

Barclay Simpson is currently representing the Head of Technology Risk at a multinational bank who is looking to hire a Lead Technology Risk Analyst. The Lead will be responsible for the testing, reporting, and development of new tools and methodologies, program or project management, leading special projects, as well as program implementation as it applies to the overall Bank. This role will report to the Principal of Information Security Risk.


  • Ensure the IT Risk Program is working effectively to report on the LOB function's IT risk posture
  • Work with other risk functions to develop and implement controls that mitigate risks
  • Execution of the IT risk management standards and procedures
  • Develop IT risk management analysis reports
  • Perform technology impact assessments and evaluate new products
  • Analyze existing technology controls. Identify and remediate gaps by partnering with development teams
  • Defining the scope and impact of projects and effectively communicating the impact on the organization


  • 8+ years of technology risk, Information Security or Cybersecurity experience, 5 years in a leadership role
  • Master's degree in Risk Management or IT preferred
  • Extensive knowledge in GRC tools, Archer preferred
  • Extensive experience in application security, vulnerability testing, or penetration testing
  • First Line Third Party Risk experience preferred
