Information Security AVP - Vulnerability, Assessment, IT Risk, Asian Banking

 

Our leading banking client is requiring an Information Security AVP to support the oversight and implementation of the Bank’s Cyber Information Security policies, programs and processes. This role will contribute to the security, stability and reliability to all data security infrastructure, data security policies, and data security operations. The Data Security Specialist will ensure the safeguard and protection of Bank’s Information Security and data in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures. The successful candidate will have a knowledge of information security and cyber security best practices, familiarity with financial regulations: FFIEC, GLBA, PCI and cross border regulations, experience in various major database platforms, experience working with security tools.

 

This position offers the opportunity to work in an international organization with great exposure to different aspects of the business and senior management. The position sits within a newly established function within an industry leading Bank. This individual will perform data security architecture reviews and provide feedback on proposed designated security projects with the IT team and coordinate the remediation/validation process.

 

Main responsibilities will include security policy and procedure development and maintenance, data governance and data classification, access control, data confidentiality and data transfer and vulnerability remediation. We are looking for someone with experience in the financial services industry or equivalent. Relevant experience includes 2 or more of the following areas: information security, cybersecurity, vulnerability management, security architecture, network and computer systems administration. 

Successful candidates will have the ability to work autonomously and be able to bridge the gap between deep technical knowledge and business requirements in order to influence strategy and application security management.
